Wheel-thrown in rich iron stoneware, this pot was reduction-fired for fourteen hours up to 1290ºC in my self-built gas kiln. Its glossy green finish draws its colour from the granite used in the glaze, while iron flecks from the clay create a natural freckled effect.
The mug is food and dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to preserve its finish. Over time it may develop natural staining from beverages like tea or coffee. While durable, the edges can chip if handled roughly, so care is advised.
