Wheel thrown in white stoneware, this pot was reduction-fired for fourteen hours up to 1290ºC in my self-built gas kiln. Its pale, glossy blue glaze draws its color from the iron-rich clay used in the glaze.
The mug is food and dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to preserve its finish. Over time it may develop natural staining from beverages like tea or coffee. While durable, the edges can chip if handled roughly, so care is advised.
