This handmade, wheel-thrown breakfast bowl has a satin yellow glaze accented with a pigmented rim in red iron oxide. Its intensity varying subtly depending on the firing process. Each piece is reduction-fired for twelve hours in a gas kiln that I built this year.
The bowl is food, oven and dishwasher safe, though handwashing is recommended to preserve its finish. It is made with white stoneware clay and a satin glaze that has crystallised during the cooling process.
Each piece is unique, celebrating the charm of handmade ceramics.
