This handmade, wheel-thrown salad bowl has a satin glaze, its intensity varying subtly depending on the firing process. Each piece is reduction-fired for twelve hours in a gas kiln that I built this year.
The dish is food, oven and dishwasher safe, though handwashing is recommended to preserve its finish. It is made with grey stoneware clay and a satin glaze with pale green-blue to yellow tones.
