This handmade, wheel-thrown Tea Jar has a satin yellow glaze, its intensity varying subtly depending on the firing process. Each piece is reduction-fired for twelve hours in a gas kiln that I built this year.
The tea jar is food and dishwasher safe, though handwashing is recommended to preserve its finish. It is made with white stoneware clay and a satin yellow, iron-rich glaze. While durable, the edges can chip if handled roughly, so care is advised.
Each piece is unique, celebrating the artistry of handmade ceramics.
