This handmade, wheel-thrown jug has a satin glaze and a pigmented iron rim. Its intensity varying subtly depending on the firing process. Each piece is reduction-fired for twelve hours in a gas kiln that I built this year.
The table jug is food and dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to preserve its finish. Made with white stoneware clay and a satin glaze, it may develop natural staining over time on the inside. While durable, the edges can chip if handled roughly, so care is advised.
