Bowl in Celadon

£40.00

Dimensions: Approximately 8.5 cm (H) x 15 cm (W)

Wheel-thrown in a white stoneware, this pot was reduction-fired for fourteen hours to 1290ºC in my self-built gas kiln. Its glossy finish draws its character from the iron traces in the red clay in the glaze, whose colour naturally varies with the melt showing soft blue tones.

The bowl is food and dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to preserve its finish. While durable, the edges can chip if handled roughly, so care is advised.

Each piece is unique, celebrating the charm of handmade ceramics. Slight variations may occur between pieces; each piece has been photographed individually on this shop.
